Changes to EU Shipments from January 2021
The UK may be leaving the EU but we remain a European distributor and we are committed to all our customers in Europe. We have been working to make sure that we are as prepared as possible for whatever may happen on 31 December 2020. Our aim is to make sure that our customers see as little change as possible when doing business with us.
From January 2021 shipments will be dispatched from our distribution hub in the Netherlands under our NL VAT registration number. This means if you are a VAT registered business your orders will continue to be an Intra- EU supply, just as they are now. There will be no need to clear your order through customs or pay any duty, and VAT will continue to be 0% using the reverse charge rules. The only difference will be the VAT registration number on our invoices. If you are not VAT registered then VAT will be charged at the Netherlands VAT rate of 21%.
Moving to a distribution hub in the Netherlands means we can take advantage of the well-developed road logistics in mainland Europe rather than ship by air, this does mean that delivery times will be 1 to 2 days longer but will reduce our carbon emissions. If you place scheduled orders with us, we will allow for this when shipping your orders.
