Profusion and Brexit: Our Post-Brexit Strategy
Many of our customers have asked us about possible changes following the UK's departure from the EU.
Up until now we have been waiting for more information on the outcome of negotiations between the UK and EU. However, it seems increasingly likely that agreement will not be reached for some time and there is a chance that no agreement will be reached.
Our top priority is to ensure that our customers' orders are not interrupted by these changes and we can continue our commitment to serving all our European customers, many of whom have traded with us for many years. We have therefore decided to set up a subsidiary company in the EU, and if no agreement is reached on the free movement of goods all our EU sales will go through this subsidiary. This means there will be no changes for our customers to import processes, including duty and VAT, and we will avoid border delays.
We will be writing to all our EU customers early in 2019 with more information.
