You may notice a few changes to our product catalogue this month – this is because New Japan Radio has merged with RICOH Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. to form Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc.
Japanese investment firm Nisshinbo plans to join the existing brands to grow as an “Analog Solution Provider” with a focus on energy management and signal processing, while expanding the former New Japan Radio’s microwave lines. Further details on the merger can be found here.
This change of brand is effective as of January 1st 2022, though all existing New Japan Radio part numbers will remain the same. This is very good news for Profusion customers, as we will now be able to supply you with RICOH power management ICs, as well as all existing NJRC components and future Nisshinbo Micro Devices developments.
